In the south of Normandy, discover the church of a former blacksmith village. Near Verneuil-sur-Avre, the Saint-Martin de Francheville church belonged to the Abbey of Saint-Lomer de Blois during the Duchy of Normandy period. The nave, the oldest part, offers vestiges of Romanesque style in gris de pierre. The XNUMXth century choir is bordered by a vaulted vaulted chapel. A small blocked door, to the south of the choir, is decorated with pilasters and a frieze garnished with Renaissance-style angels. You will also discover the organ, one of the curiosities of the church as well as its rich furniture.
