Escargot des Marnières is an outdoor snail farm, in the middle of the Normandy countryside. Véronique Paysant, the farmer, won 1st prize in the Normandy Seine gourmet talent competition in 2013, in the “Farmers” category.
Production: snails in shells, in chips, in mini-bites; in jars: snail confit, escargotine, escapéro, escaporto, escargaubergine, snails plain or with porcini mushrooms. New: “Hermaphrodite” soaps based on snail slime.
And also in store: cider, sparkling, apple juice, honey, strawberry syrup and cosmetic product based on snail slime, 100% natural soap for the body made with slime from farmed snails.
Sale at the farm every day from 15:30 p.m. to 19 p.m. Sale on the market of Verneuil-sur-Avre and Évreux on Saturday morning. Free visit of the parks of the farm and tasting by appointment in the afternoons from June to September.
