In this small hamlet of Eure-et-Loir, at the crossroads of Beauce, Normandy and Perche, is the house of the painter and writer Maurice de Vlaminck.
In 1925, he moved there with his second wife. He remained in this house where he continued to paint and write until his death in 1958.
This authentic place welcomes you to help you discover the intimate world of this extraordinary character.
The visit to the Maison Vlaminck is in the same configuration as a Maison des Illustres, with a presentation of some of the artist's works following the theme of the cultural program. No changes have been made to the house and its contents since Vlaminck's death. Dining room, living room, workshop... The authenticity of the place has allowed it to keep all its intimacy.
