10:00 am Visit of the Chocolatrium in Damville.
The Cluizel family business is one of the leaders in high-end chocolate making, established for over 70 years in Normandy. It is also one of the rare chocolate makers to master the transformation of cocoa beans into cocoa paste and then into chocolate. Four generations contribute to the excellence of its know-how. The Chocolatrium is a space dedicated to chocolate open to all curious people and gourmets. Visit the gallery, trace the history of cocoa in a fun way, discover your chocolate profile, learn the stages of making Cluizel chocolate… And finally, move on to the guided tasting stage.
12:00 pm Lunch in a traditional restaurant to the barrels
14:30 p.m. Visit to the workshops of the Bohin Factory in Saint-Sulpice-sur-Risle (Orne).
The only French manufacturer of sewing needles, safety pins and glass-headed pins. The employees work in front of you on ancestral machines and the visit continues in an impressive contemporary museum. 45-minute guided tour then free visit.
