History, landscapes, built heritage of the municipalities of Montigny-sur-Avre and Courteilles, will punctuate and enrich your knowledge of this valley straddling two departments and two regions. You will discover that the valley has played a role since the Middle Ages in the history of Normandy and that it was then the object of various desires: millers, farmers, owners of castles.
Please note: the path which extends from the mill (point n ° 3) and which passes through the Constance tower (point n ° 5) is closed. The FDRP27 was forced to modify the “Avre de nature” hiking trail. This modification has no impact on the characteristics of the circuit. You can walk it by following the yellow markings which will lead you by the alley of Larry. But respect the environment, because you are entering there in private property!
