A short walk between ponds and forests around Saint-Nicolas d'Attez, birthplace of the painter Théodule Ribot. Taught by his father, he did not attend school. In this free education, made in the open air, the young Ribot perhaps drew these first feelings of independence which he was to deploy later. Follow in his footsteps and be inspired by the landscapes that punctuate this hiking circuit.

Step 1
Facing the starting sign, go to the left. Take the road immediately to the right. At the end of the road, turn left. At the crossroads, cross then immediately take the path to the right which enters the woods. Continue on a wide path slightly to the left, in the undergrowth.

At the exit of the wood, turn right on the wide agricultural track. Cross this wood without leaving this path..

At the road, go right for 100 m, then left on rue du château d'eau. At the crossroads, turn left into rue de la Courtinière. Arrived at the level of the houses, take the path of Hamel to the right. Finally, follow the road to the right to reach the starting point.
