Walking

By mountain bike

The village was created after clearing in the forest of Breteuil in 1120 by the third son Arnault, nicknamed “Arnault du Bois”. No child can resist: they have to run up the stairs leading to the top of the feudal mound in the charming village of Bois-Arnault! This small 4 km circuit allows them to work out across the field! Note, this circuit is pedestrian, but if children are new to mountain biking, this plain course is ideal.

Your itinerary

Bois-Arnault (2 rue de la Mairie)

1

Step 1

Looking at the sign, go left. At the first crossroads, go straight on a path lined with trees and heading towards the plain. At the road, take the path on the right.
2

Step 2

Join the GR 224 which you take to the left. Ford the stream. On the road, go to the right. This continues along the way. After the last house, take the first path to the right. After the hedge, ignore the first path going to the right and continue straight on along a ditch. Turn right into the next path. It crosses the plain and finds the GR 224 which we take to the left.
3

Step 3

Take the path to the right, which leads back to the church. At the road, turn left, pass between the cemetery and the feudal motte. Pass in front of the church. At the crossroads, follow the departmental road to the right on the sidewalk to return to the town hall.
