Raw and delicate, soft and powerful at the same time, waxed concrete and all its paradoxes come into our interiors. Laurence and Arnaud Dupont fell in love with this material in 2005. At the head of DG Batiment, a real estate renovation company, they decided to extend their activity to the creation of decorative objects and furniture in waxed concrete (coated decorative) and high performance concrete.
Since 2011, they welcome you in their shop located at the foot of the Saint-Jean tower in Verneuil-sur-Avre. Like a true artist, Arnaud works with concrete with talent and originality. He creates various objects such as trays, cups, frames, vases, paintings or even cutting boards but also furniture (console, cube, planter…). By manipulating pigments and techniques, he gives shapes, colors and reliefs to the material. It will, for example, give the appearance of wood or leather on an object coated with waxed concrete. Attentive to your needs, the couple also offers tailor-made creations (choice of dimensions, materials, colors, finishes, etc.).
