Walking

This walk, on either side of the Risle, explores the industrial history of Rugles in the past. After having skirted the industrial zone of the paper mill and the old fulling mills, you cross the hamlet of Herponcey, its chapel, its washhouse and its castles. The return is via the rue des forges, an old avenue where a multitude of blacksmith workshops gathered.
