Located in Saint Sulpice sur Risle, near L'Aigle in Normandy, the BOHIN France company has perpetuated the pinmaking and needlemaking tradition of its region for more than 190 years. A showcase of French know-how and rich in an exciting history, the company thus exhibits its exceptional heritage on the banks of the river, the Risle, and preserves the industrial memory of France. Over 2 m², visiting the Bohin workshops is a place of discovery, authenticity, respect for manual work and surprises!

The visit of the active company crosses the 2 levels of the manufacturing workshops where the workers of the company work, the public witnesses the birth of sewing needles, safety pins and glass-headed pins ( from Murano!). Only separated by a guardrail, visitors discover ancestral know-how on machines, some dating from the 19th century.
A large contemporary museum traces the needlework trades, even the most astonishing, the history of the company in the region, the life of Benjamin Bohin (atypical founder of the company), vintage advertisements, artists and artistic trends using the company's productions in an original way.
Come also browse the temporary exhibitions and discover a beautiful shop with many products, a welcome and personalized advice! During the season, many events await you: guided tours, event days, live performance…. There is always something to do at Bohin!
