This circuit connects the three churches of the communes of Saint-Ouen d'Attez, Saint-Nicolas d'Attez and Dame Marie which merged to give birth to the new commune of Sainte-Marie d'Attez. Two of these buildings are classified as Historical Monuments. Sainte-Marie d'Attez (place Jules Chauvin)
Step 1
In front of the sign, go left towards the town hall. Cross the first crossroads continuing straight. Turn left into rue du Haut-Matry. At the next crossroads, turn right, then right again into the dirt track. On the road in sight of the Iton, go left on the dirt road. At the crossroads, cross the path carrying the GR 222 and continue straight ahead. After entering the farm, turn right. (off course, in the street opposite, notice a bread oven and after the bend the Gilbardière well). Cut the road and continue opposite towards the Moulin Patrouillet. Cross the Iton and go straight on to join the GR 222. Turn left to return to Saint Nicolas, passing over the footbridges.

left on the dirt track and left again on the path which joins the hamlet of Naudière. (Note the superb ceramic finials on the first house.) On leaving the hamlet, go to the left.
