In the immediate vicinity of the Baron Lacour space, come and discover the history and riches of a natural wetland.
In Tillières-sur-Avre, near the Pont Auber ponds, hides a set of wetlands classified as a Sensitive Natural Area. As evidenced by the 19th century hydraulic dam that you will see at its entrance, man and water have worked together here, sometimes collaborating, fighting against each other other times.
Along a 1,8 km nature trail with explanatory panels, come and discover the history and riches of this natural site. By paying attention, you may come across some of its inhabitants: frogs, birds, dragonflies...
The Agrion de Mercure is the mascot of the site: it will guide you along the path! This delicate and protected little blue dragonfly has been spotted on the site, where everything has been put in place to preserve its habitat. To recognize it, a single distinctive sign, a drawing in the shape of a bull's head on the upper abdomen.
