History, landscapes, built heritage of the municipalities of Montigny-sur-Avre and Courteilles, will punctuate and enrich your knowledge of this valley straddling two departments and two regions. You will discover that the valley has played a role since the Middle Ages in the history of Normandy and that it was then the object of various desires: millers, farmers, owners of castles.
