In the south of the Eure in Normandy, discover this historic site, a former stronghold of strategic interest.
The current brick and stone house dates from the 17th and 18th centuries. It was built on the remains of the old fortress by the Laval-Montmorency family. Chennebrun was one of the castles which ensured the defense of Normandy against France, on the border which then delimited the Duchy of Normandy and the Kingdom of France. From the time of the fortified castle, the surrounding walls and watchtowers still remain.
