“Ironwork is the art of making something beautiful with metal, cold by welding or hot with forge”. In Normandy, at the gates of Paris, the creations of Christian Le Valégant are unique and made by hand. His grandfather, Gaston Desdoigts, was the last blacksmith in Dreux, the artist's hometown. It is undoubtedly by watching him work for hours, that the passion for the forge came to him. It is with humility that he tries to perpetuate this family know-how. In his workshop, Christian offers you original creations of all kinds for the arrangement of your interiors and exteriors: gates, stairs, furniture, lighting and decorative objects. Work on site or in the workshop. Restoration of various objects.
Possible visit of the workshop with commented demonstration of forging (approximately 1 hour), presentation of the different materials and tools, then of various finished objects.
Le Valégant Création takes part in numerous events (fairs, exhibitions, parties, etc.).
