By mountain bike

On horseback

Explore the east bank of the Iton through the woods. You pass near three mills. The Mills were the supports of the economic activity until the beginning of the XXth century. Most were converted into second homes after World War II. The Moulin du Coq, like the February mill, are two fine examples (private property). It is said that General de Gaulle would have stayed a few days at the Moulin de Villez when he returned to France.

Your itinerary

Sylvains-les-Moulins (2 rue des écoles - Hameau Villez)

1

Step 1

In front of the sign, take the rue des Peupliers on the left. At the ordeal, cross the road and take the path opposite. A little further,
enter the woods. At the crossroads, at the pumping station, turn right and at the fork, go right.
2

Step 2

Cross the RD60 and continue opposite like the paths marked in red and blue. Cross the Bois de Sainte Cécile between the properties. On the road, go straight ahead, leaving the blue circuit. After the Tuilerie subdivision, enter the woods on the right along the fence.
3

Step 3

At the crossroads of several paths, take the furthest to the left and continue on this path until the RD 32. Go down the road on the left.
4

Step 4

Leave the red circuit and take a path on the other side of the road which goes up in the woods to the right. Go through the barrier. A little further on, continue to the right in another path winding through the woods parallel to the road. Before leaving the woods, cross the road again
and take the path opposite. Continue along the wood, then enter another wood.
5

Step 5

At the crossroads already crossed, turn left into the alley. The path comes out of the woods and joins the hamlet of Villez. Turn right onto the RD60 to return to the starting point.
